ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Jessica Stuart is a professional songwriter/guitarist with over 20 years of songwriting experience, a Top 40 single on the Japanese pop charts, a 'Best Album' win at the International Independent Music Awards and a dozen songs with finalist/honourable mention status in the Canadian Songwriting Competition. Jessica also has many years of co-writing experience, in a variety of genres with dozens of artsists, including as a hired gun. As a songwriting teacher, Stuart recognizes the importance of maintaining and strengthening each students' musical & lyrical voice, while developing an editing ear, and learning the "songwriting toolbox" skills that will help overcome writers block and other challenges.
